$50 adoption fees on all adult dogs, 6 months and up, including small dogs, until the end of the month!
Mutt Strut is a community-wide animal celebration that includes a dog friendly pledge driven walk, food trucks, exhibitors, and fun activities. More than 800 local pet lovers come yearly to support the 2,500 animals FAMD cares for each year. The Mutt Strut promotes healthy relationships between people and their companion animals, and education about the sustainable health of pets and their people.
Mutt Strut is one of FAMD’s biggest fundraisers, and this year, our Mutt Strut will be held at the MaryAnn Wright Animal Adoption and Education Center, giving participants a chance to see the animals and the facility their donations support. This event raises much needed funds to support the over 2,400 animals we care for each year. With lingering impacts due to COVID-19 your participation in Mutt Strut is more critical than ever.
Registration will be opening soon, and you will be able to sign up to participate, either by creating a team or participating as an individual. The registration fee is $35 and includes a 2022 Mutt Strut t-shirt. Once you have registered and created & personalized your fundraising page, we encourage you to share it with friends, family and co-workers to begin collecting donations. There will be prizes for the top fundraising team and individuals!
Proceeds from the event support FAMD and our animals – helping us get every dog and cat at the shelter all the medical care, food, and love they deserve while they wait for their forever homes
