If possible – he lives with our other cat Nabi, listed in a separate post.
Meet Chief, my 16-year-old gentle old man. I’ve had him since I was 9, and this is truly one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made. He comes from a very loving home, but with postpartum changes and the shift in our family dynamic, I can’t give him the calm attention he deserves.
✨ About Chief
• 16 years old
• Sweet, calm, and loves to sleep most of the day
• Still playful in his own slow-and-sweet way
• Loves cuddles and will come to you when he’s ready for affection
• Great with kids and other cats
• Hasn’t been around dogs
⚕️ Health
Chief has a history of seizures, but he takes phenobarbital twice a day, and he hasn’t had a seizure since February. He is also hard of hearing in his older age, but he gets around just fine and enjoys his day-to-day routine. I have his current medication and prescription ready to transfer to his new vet.
🎁 What Comes With Him
Toys, food, scratchers, automatic feeder, and a water fountain.
I’m looking for a quiet, loving home where Chief can live out his golden years comfortably and with lots of gentle love.
If you’re interested in giving this sweet senior a soft landing, please reach out. 🤍
