The FAMD Friends Club is where your generosity does more good than what’s humanly possible. Your contributions have an incredible, long-lasting effect — for dogs and cats in need and for people across the Metro Detroit area.

Friends Club Members help FAMD continue our mission of helping dogs and cats find their forever homes, and to offer outreach programs that make the world a better place for humans and animals.

In 2022 FAMD:

Administered more than 605 free vaccines
• Inserted more than 300 microchips
• 181 dogs went on multiple Doggy Day Out Excursions with over 160 Doggy Day Out Volunteers
• 77 Read to Rover visits
• Donated 9,987 pounds of pet food with Operation Feed Fido

As a Friends Club member, you will receive:

• A monthly email with an update on adoption counts and pictures of selected animals that have been adopted
• Membership in a dedicated Facebook (FB) group where you can share and see pictures and stories with/from other Friends Club members
• A quarterly briefing on what is going on with FAMD – either a video, or a live Zoom broadcast
• A “welcome” post in the FB group with a picture(s) of you and your pet(s)
• A monthly “welcome” recognition on the FAMD website homepage in the “News” section
• Listing on the Friends Club web page, along with a picture of your pet(s)
