Finn is a lovable, cuddly Shepherd Beagle mix who loves long walks, hiking, playing ball, and sitting in laps. He will be 9 years old this summer (exact birthdate unknown). We are heartbroken to have to find him a new home; we adopted him when he was 1.5 and he’s been a wonderful adventure buddy. Unfortunately he does not get along well with kids and now that we have two it has become too difficult to manage. He deserves a home where he is not stressed all the time. He is so loving and affectionate toward adults! He gets along well with our chihuahua terrier mix but is 50/50 with other dogs (usually can adjust after a little while) and has some resource guarding tendencies. He also has pancreatitis which he had been on steroids for but is now weaned off and switched to a probiotic- which is much easier to manage! The pancreatitis makes it hard for him to eat and he occasionally has some flare ups but overall it has been fine to manage. He really is just the sweetest boy! He is updated on all his vaccinations and just had dental work.
