Our darling Petunia has been with us since January 2021. Just to clarify- she is a rabbit, not a cat. We just recently had a baby and we found out through allergy testing that our child is allergic to Petunia and cannot live in the same area. We are absolutely heartbroken over this, but ultimately we want Petunia to have a happy life with someone that will pet her and let her roam around the house like she used to at ours.
Petunia is a mix of a Lion head and a Dutch bunny so she has some fluff around her collar area and she has the markings of a Dutch bunny. She is incredibly sweet and loves to run and jump around the house. She has been an indoor bunny all her life and she has been a free roam bunny as well. She does love to nibble cords so those have to be tucked away or else she will nibble away at them. She doesn’t love being held, but she is happy getting head rubs and pets. Just like most rabbits, she is timid at first, but usually opens up to guests after a time. She is potty trained to her litter box, but the occasional small poop will be flung out when she jumps out of the box.
Petunia is honestly the best pet I have ever had. When our baby starting having major allergies we were so sad to find out it was our Petunia causing them. I want Petunia to live a happy life where she will get lots of pets and get to have some space to roam and explore.
