Gigabyte was rescued from a shelter and was very skittish from the beginning. We assumed that there had been some trauma involved. He warmed up fairly well, but not others, over the course of several months. However, we had our son, who is now 2 1/2 years old, and Gigabyte has since retreated to largely being scared. He will still walk around us, approach us (especially if we have a soft throw blanket that he loves to kneed), but he has not progressed any further. We feel that we just do not have the time or supportive environment since we have had our son. We love him and really want him to live in a home that can fully support him. He is a really sweet cat and he deserves better.
