🧶 About Maysey
Maysey is a relaxed, charming cat who loves simply being near his people. Whether you’re working from home, watching a movie, or heading to bed, Maysey will want to be right there with you. His love language is closeness. He is not skittish or fearful.
He enjoys gentle pets, especially around the chin, ears, and face, and is content just being in the same room as you. He isn’t clingy, but he thrives on companionship.
Maysey has a playful side too. Once or twice a day, usually in the afternoon or evening, he’ll get the zoomies and wants to chase his favorite feather toy. He’s pretty quiet at night and doesn’t typically get nighttime zoomies.

Low-maintenance and litter box trained (never had an accident!)
Friendly, confident, and not skittish, he enjoys people of all ages
Has a beautiful coat and seems to be low-shedding

⚠️ Things to Know (Maysey’s Quirks)
He prefers short petting sessions and will give a little warning (like turning his head) when he’s done. If ignored, he might gently nip, but he’s never broken the skin.
When playing use toys, not hands! His claws are sharp, so monthly nail trims are a good idea.
He’s curious about the outdoors and may try to dart out. He should be kept indoors.
Gets a little silly when there are guests or when someone is cleaning, some meowing and running around! He’s goody that way.
Loves sleeping at the foot of the bed.

Maysey would thrive in a calm, loving home where he can be the center of attention. He will do best as an only pet, though he hasn’t had much exposure to other animals. He’s ideal for someone who wants a companion cat. He is sweet, funny, independent, and deeply loyal.

🙏 Why He’s Being Rehomed
Maysey’s current caregiver has a serious medical condition that makes continued cat ownership difficult, despite every effort to make it work. He is not being rehomed due to behavior or health issues. He’s a truly good boy. The hope is to find a home situation where Maysey can thrive with the love and stability he deserves.
