Rayven is a black lab mix with a energy for days and a sweet smile. He’s full of energy and has a curious mind, so he does need a home where there will be lots of attention. He has been 90% potty trained using a bell system near the door. The main times he still has accidents is because we allow him into areas where he doesn’t normally go like the basement and it is a trigger for him to go 1 or two.

He has been raised for the last year and a half with an older (7) male dog, and he does do well as long as he meets appropriately. He will tire out our other dog very easily for being very close in size. Rayven is approximately 55 lbs.

He does tricks like jumping for treats/food, and does know the sit command.

The reason we are looking to rehome is that he is a very high energy, high demand dog, and our family has recently had medical complications that have shown we cannot keep up with him among our other routines.

He did have a two month run of nipping at our kids, and we did meet with a trainer to ascertain his behavior. He did an inhouse visit and confirmed that Rayven is very protective of the toys we give him, and we need to use commands like ‘drop it’ to make sure he releases before we engage.
