Corporations and Foundations

We view your support as an investment in the work we do. We want your company or foundation to meet your philanthropic goals. That is why we view our relationship with you as a partnership.

Sponsorships

Our sponsorships include numerous benefits for your company. Thousands of animal lovers walk through our doors and visit our social media each year and they would love to see your company supporting the work we do. Sponsorships pricing is generally $1,500 to $20,000. For more information, please contact our Events & Communications Manager at 313-943-2697 ext. 1019.

Matching Gifts

Businesses with a corporate philanthropy program have happier, more engaged, and productive employees than those that do not. Matching gifts can improve your corporate reputation and increase your social impact. If your company doesn’t have a matching gift program, please consider one.

Individuals who leverage matching gifts from their employer can double (or sometimes even triple) your charitable contribution. If your company is a matching gift employer, it’s easy to multiply your gift:
  • Contact your HR department to request a matching gift form.
  • Complete the form and send it to Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit with your donation.

Volunteer Hours

Paid time off to volunteer is an increasingly common perk among employers. Businesses that offer paid volunteer time generally see an increase in employee collaboration and engagement.

Some employers will also give a donation to the nonprofit the employee is volunteering at based on the number of hours worked. If you are a business, consider establishing a volunteer program For individuals interested in volunteering, check with your HR department to see if they have a volunteer program.

Grants

Foundations that support our work can expect a thorough proposal, acknowledgement, comprehensive reporting and the opportunity to see first hand what their grant has helped us accomplish. The needs of Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit ranges from unrestricted general operating support and capital campaign needs, to equipment and program-specific funding. Our development team is experienced with the grant-making process and managing the grant requirements. Please contact our President and CEO at 313-943-2697 ext. 1004 to discuss potential grant opportunities.
